As one of Shanghai’s most iconic historic Shikumen architecture complexes, Zhang Garden carries over a century of the city’s memories. WAiU’s choice of this location reflects its desire to present a new expression of contemporary tech-driven skincare upon a foundation of history and tradition.
An Aesthetic Space Where Technology Meets Art
The historical depth of Shikumen architecture intersects with the material language of modern precision skincare technology. Roman-column–style structures and curated lighting create a foyer reminiscent of a temple dedicated to the care of time itself.
The foyer showcases WAiU’s signature beauty devices across generations. From evolving designs and upgraded materials to advancements in energy output and care philosophy, each device represents the brand’s technical innovations at different stages and embodies the shared journey of WAiU and its users.
